Welcome to class 3

Miss Lowe and Miss Logan are excited to welcome you into our class. This is a special year for your child, as is their first year in Key Stage 2. It is important that your child is fully equipped to participate in the learning opportunities planned for them each day. The register is sent to the office at 9am; please make sure your child is in class before this time. Myself, or Miss Logan, will be available to speak to parents after school. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or queries about anything.

Monday Homework due in.   Library 12:15-12:45
Tuesday Homework sent home.      PE Kits-Dance
Wednesday  Times table test
Thursday  Spelling test & new spellings sent home.   Sports development-PE kits
Friday Mrs Jackson teaching AM

All children will read every day in school as part of their learning, with at least two focussed reading sessions per week. It is expected that children will practise their reading at home with an adult at least twice a week. Reading at home is essential for pupils to make speedy progress through the book bands. Children will also practise their times tables regularly in school, but can I please stress the importance of practising these at home as well.

Thank you in advance for your support this year, I am confident that if we work together as a team, your child will make fantastic progress in class 3.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Lowe.
