All year-round Uniform
To promote smart appearance and a sense of belonging to our school, we actively encourage the wearing of a school uniform. Our school uniform is very simple:
Boys wear: white shirt or yellow polo shirt, grey/black trousers, royal blue jumper or sweatshirt. Black shoes or trainers.
Girls wear: white blouse or yellow polo shirt, grey/black skirt, grey/black pinafore dress or trousers, royal blue jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt. Black shoes or trainers.
From September 2018, royal blue sweatshirts, royal blue cardigans and yellow polo shirts and fleeces with our logo may be bought online from www.stitchdesign.co.uk .

You will need our school post code to register which is M34 5HD.
All children should have a St Stephen’s ‘book bag’ for the carrying of books, reading records, letters etc. These can be bought from the school office.
All children should wear a warm coat in the cold months.
All children should wear a white tee-shirt, black shorts and either black pumps or trainers. Tracksuit bottoms can be worn in the cold weather. PE kits should be available at school each day and should be labelled and kept in a thin PE bag or a plastic carrier bag at school. Kits should be taken home intermittently for washing.
All children can wear black/grey shorts in the summer.Girls can wear traditional summer, checked school dresses (bought from supermarkets) – any colour.
All children should be provided with a sunhat when the weather is hot. Reception children will be given sun-cream on their arms, necks and faces in hot weather. If your child has an allergy to sun-cream, please see a member of staff.
Please make sure that ALL your child’s clothing and shoes are marked with his/her name in order to avoid upset and confusion.
Jewellery is not allowed apart from one pair of stud earrings and a watch. Children should not bring expensive property or loose money to school. The school is not responsible for any property that is damaged, lost or stolen.
